Volleyball Lessons/Skills
1:1 or Semi Private (no more then 4 athletes)
Training sessions will be held at Athletic Empire/Jim Hill
Break down of Passing, Setting, Serving and Hitting. We break the basics down and work on all fundamentals of the game. We have certified trainers who also played in college and coach for Empire Volleyball Club.
Trainer:
Ashley Gathman - She has been around volleyball all her life and her mom is also a coach/referee. Ashley played 1 year at MSU and decided to focus on school. She specializes in Setting and DS positions.
Morgan Wheeler - Morgan Wheeler is excited to be back in her home town . During her four varsity seasons at Minot High she spent time as a 6 row middle and outside hitter. Morgan earned all conference her junior and senior year and all state her senior year. After high school she played two seasons with the Bismarck State Mystics where she split time as an outside hitter, middle hitter and in the backrow. Morgan earned a spot on the Mon-Dak all-region team. In her playing career with the Mystics she helped her team to a 58-9 overall record, 2 Mon-Dak conference titles and a national tournament birth in 2022. After her time as an athlete for the mystics she became a grad assistant for them this past season under coaches Kyle Kuether, Val Lesu, and Anna Folk. She also spent the last two travel seasons coaching for Capital Volleyball Club in Bismarck. Morgan brings a passion for coaching and a genuine love for the game which she wants to give back to her community!
