Volleyball Lessons/Skills
1:1 or Semi Private (no more then 3 Athletes)
Training sessions will be held at Athletic Empire
Break down of Passing, Setting, Serving and Hitting. We break the basics down and work on all fundamentals of the game. We have certified trainers who also played in college and coach for Empire Volleyball Club.
Your Trainers and Back Ground Information:
Mackenzie Dufner (RETURNING MAY): Division 1 commit volleyball setter who is leaving after her Senior Season to play Spring Volleyball for UND. Her focus on training is on Setting but will work on Defense and Hitting with all players. She was just asked to work on the National Development team and Ranked #1 Setter in ND and #6 overall for Prep Digs. She has played volleyball since she has been 8 and has been playing all over the country. She has been selected to play on Regional teams and has played and started varsity since 9th grade. She is very knowledgeable in volleyball and wants to watch the sport grow with in our community.
Morgan Wheeler: Morgan Wheeler is excited to be back in her home town . During her four varsity seasons at Minot High she spent time as a 6 row middle and outside hitter. Morgan earned all conference her junior and senior year and all state her senior year. After high school she played two seasons with the Bismarck State Mystics where she split time as an outside hitter, middle hitter and in the backrow. Morgan earned a spot on the Mon-Dak all-region team. In her playing career with the Mystics she helped her team to a 58-9 overall record, 2 Mon-Dak conference titles and a national tournament birth in 2022. After her time as an athlete for the mystics she became a grad assistant for them this past season under coaches Kyle Kuether, Val Lesu, and Anna Folk. She also spent the last two travel seasons coaching for Capital Volleyball Club in Bismarck. Morgan brings a passion for coaching and a genuine love for the game which she wants to give back to her community! Morgan is working with ALL Athletes especially Hitters and Defense.
Brenna Stroklund: Brenna Stroklund went to Kenmare High School where she played varsity volleyball for four years as a starting six position middle hitter. Brenna received region and state awards throughout her high school career, including 1st team all state, and placed in the state tournament three consecutive times. After high school she played overseas in the Dominican Republic with Americas Team and her team received third place. Brenna is in her third year at Minot State University studying exercise science and rehabilitation to become a physical therapist. She played as a starting outside hitter for Minot State until she tore her labrum and medically retired from volleyball. Brenna has coaching and officiating experience and has a lot of passion. She is knowledgeable in many aspects of the game but especially hitting all three positions and blocking. She can’t wait to build relationships with players and enjoy the game in a new way! She is working with all athletes but especially hitters and defense.
COST:
1:1 for 1 hour is $40
1:2 for 1 hour is $30 Each Athlete
1:3 for 1 hour is $25 Each Athlete
** Payment will be sent to you once all private lessons are set up.
** All schedule/lessons have to go through what trainer you are looking to set up with.
** All Sessions are held at Athletic Empire Sports Performance back gym.
